Chandra&Jared ~October 20th, 2007

I'm officially back from maternity leave and Chandra&Jared’s wedding was a wonderful WELCOME BACK present! I wondered if it would be hard to get back in the swing of things, but they made it sooooooo easy. The weather was perfect and the couple was “easy on the eyes” as Jared would say. Thank You for making me feel so welcomed and loved (from everyone)! I hope it was everything you ever imagined, and have fun in St. Bart's. Thanks again!

Madison, Max & Marcus ~Party

WOW! What can I say about Madison, Marcus and Max's birthday party... it was really COOL!
Andrea&Dean sure know how to throw a good party. Everything was perfect... the decorations (talk about a attention to detail, Japanese bottled water, origami, fortune cookies) but the best part was the entertainment. The kids really enjoyed the dragon dancers, but I have a feeling if you asked them what the best part was, I would have to guess the Dragon slide. It was a little dangerous... (ok... dangerous for me not for the kiddos) that's because I decided the best place to take pictures would be in the dragons belly. Well when you have a bunch of kids coming at you it's a little hard to stay on your feet or hold the camera straight, but I survived... I came out a little shell shocked but unharmed. Thanks for having me along it was a fun ride!

ok... I got her to smile just for a minute! I knew if she worked a little harder she could be a great model. All it took was some good coaching form the photographer (a stern talk to) and look how cute she looks.

Sol is 4 weeks and MEMO is hillarious!

It's been crazy around here... really! Thank Goodness for parent support and I'm not taking about this parent. My dad and mom have been here for the last 2 1/2 weeks helping us out and I can't tell you how much we appreciate it. I wish they could stay another week.. and it's not because I want to beat them at canasta (Ok maybe I do... they are so much better than me and Billy). Sol is filling out and unfortunately I haven't taken many photos. I know... I'm bad. I have actually been following doctors orders and taking it easy. I finally got the camera out yesterday and Sol was not having any of it. She wasn't in the mood but I got some really fun photos of Memo. Halloween came a little early this year. I'll try again today and maybe we will get a smile instead of screaming.

I wanted to introduce my lovely daughter (I love the way that sounds, daughter).. Sol
Marisol Escobedo Benedict was born at 8:04a.m. in Round Rock, Texas (I know Round Rock but what can you do... we'll just tell her she was born in Austin anyway). She is the most beautiful baby girl ever! I feel blessed to have two amazing kiddos.

Maybe she'll be a Opera singer?

She makes my heart melt! Billy and I make pretty cute babies!

Baby Girl!!!

The internet at the hospital isn't quite working, so I (Blanca) told Vanessa and Billy I'd post some pics on the blog for them.

I got to visit Vanessa, Billy, and the new baby this morning. Vanessa and the baby are happy and healthy, and doing just fine. The little one was born yesterday, Aug 31 at 8:04am, 6lbs 6oz and 19". She is REALLY ridiculously cute... and super tiny!! After going back and forth between names, Vanessa and Billy finally came to a decision, but they won't let me reveal it just yet! so you'll have to stay in suspense for a little longer...
