I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Santa Fe, NM this past weekend to photograph Kristin&Joseph's wedding. My good friend and photographer extraordinaire Diana Lott came along to take "pretty pictures" , get some RR and check out Santa Fe. I've been having a really hard time narrowing my favorite photos for the blog sooooooooo I decided to post in parts. I can't say enough about Kristin&Joseph's families. They made us feel like one of their own... and to tell you the truth they need a couple of more sisters... lots of brothers . Not only was this wedding beautiful it reminded me why I love weddings... laughter , tears and lots of LOVE! So here are some of my favorites... enjoy and I'll post some more soon from the reception and of course some bad ass shots of the 2 of them! Thanks again for making us feel so welcome !

Back from SANTA FE!
OK... I'm back from Santa Fe and I had an wonderful time... We thought we might get stranded but we lucked out when Continental switched our connecting flight from Houston to Dallas! I'll have a real sneak peak from Kristen&Joseph's AMAZING wedding later on but for know I leave you with this.
I promise to post some other fun facts about Santa Fe and our fun and relaxing adventure! Some teasers... great wine... yummy tapas and warm mineral bath followed by a 95 minute massage! yeah... not too bad.
ps... I need GPS in my car... I can't live without it... I don't know how I survived without it this long.

Jamie&David
Jamie&David weren't getting along this weekend :( ... I heard something was going around.. I made them kiss and make up and sprinkled a little fairy dust and poof all BETTER! I first met Jamie&David at Jenny&Brett's wedding... Jamie is Jenny's sister. I love photographing multiple families weddings... unfortunately there are only 2 sisters so the fun stops here but I can't tell you how fortunate and honored I feel to be a part of it. I also love hearing... I trust you and know you will do a beautiful job. THANK You Jamie&David for making me feel so incredibly comfortable. I can't wait to photograph your wedding!

Stinking cute then and now! He had more hair than SOL!!!
One more of Sol taken in MAY (I know that's like a century ago in little people years... they change so much)... I promise to take some birthday photos of her ASAP! If I don't I'm going to get in trouble with my Mom!

Katie&Ben ~August 16th, 2008
Katie&Ben had a super laid back wedding this past Saturday at Red Coral Ranch in The Texas Hill Country. I think if you ask them they would say the wedding was perfect... nothing was going to affect these two. Katie patiently waited for her bridesmaids to finish getting ready and for the rain to clear up... and it did.. The weather has been a little crazy around here and the forecast called for showers all DAY! The ceremony was very emotional and beautiful... AND NO RAIN! We were lucky enough to grab some cool couple shots before the rain clouds and winds moved in once again. The rain destroyed the chocolate fountain... I wish I could have seen chocolate flying everywhere!
I love this shot Katie looking to see if it had stopped raining.
