Claire&Joel ~May 10th, 2008

Claire&Joel are married and they can’t stop smooching! It was so cute every time I turned around these 2 were lip-locked… super sweet. What a wonderful wedding I had the opportunity to photograph this past weekend. Claire looked amazing and Joel well he looked pretty darn sharp. It was actually really nice to be indoors since it was especially hot, muggy and rainy on Saturday… we even got to take some pictures outside before it started to rain. The Four Seasons ballroom looked sooooooo good thanks to the beautiful lighting by Ilios (I love lighting at weddings... it adds so much ambiance and makes for super cool photos), amazing center pieces and flowers by Coby Neal and beautiful linens. I have to THANK Claire&Joel and both of their parents for being super sweet to us and making us feel so welcome and loved! It was also a pleasure working with Sarah Miller from Caplan&Miller Events… making my job as stress-free as possible!

I love Diane from Crescent Video... and who knew she was so hip.

Trends meet Austin-style nuptials!

One of my photos from Britt&Jeff's wedding is in the Statesman today! Michelle did a wonderful job and if anyone is looking for an awesome cake... inside and out... call her. I've had the pleasure of working with her on many weddings and she never ceases to amaze me. Thanks again (I'm a broken record) to Denise from Soiree for thinking of me for this article.

Memo, yes a busted lip and ketchup on my face

I just wanted to clear a couple of things... yes Memo's lip looks funny. He has a busted lip and like all good little boys ketchup on his face. His hair looks like this about 80% of the time and no I didn't do it on purpose. He's just cool like that.

Ally&Matt ~May 3rd, 2008

First there was Lindsey&Richard then Lindsey’s sister Becky&Garrett and now Garrett’s sister Ally&Mark… pretty amazing! Let’s see how many names we can add to this chain over the years! It’s pretty amazing when you have the opportunity to photograph several weddings from the same family. Not only do I feel completely honored but grateful for the love. Ally&Mark had a beautiful wedding this past weekend in Houston. It was evident how much these two loved each other… lots of kissing. I love how low key it was and how they had time to talk to all of their guests. Lots of goofy dancing… just the way I like it. Thanks again and have an amazing honeymoon!
