Katie&Ben had a super laid back wedding this past Saturday at Red Coral Ranch in The Texas Hill Country. I think if you ask them they would say the wedding was perfect... nothing was going to affect these two. Katie patiently waited for her bridesmaids to finish getting ready and for the rain to clear up... and it did.. The weather has been a little crazy around here and the forecast called for showers all DAY! The ceremony was very emotional and beautiful... AND NO RAIN! We were lucky enough to grab some cool couple shots before the rain clouds and winds moved in once again. The rain destroyed the chocolate fountain... I wish I could have seen chocolate flying everywhere!
I love this shot Katie looking to see if it had stopped raining.

Kara&Michael ~ August 19, 2008
Kara&Michaels wedding was the first wedding for me in a while. I always take off part off the summer.. 1 to recuperate from the crazy spring season and 2 to spend some time with my family. It was great to be shooting again… I do love weddings! Kara looked amazing and even though she came across a couple of snags she took it all in stride. One of the easiest going brides I have ever met. Michael made me laugh… he’s pretty funny and I love his crazy eyes! Kara&Micheal decided to see each other before the ceremony and we got some really cool shots! I love the sweet look Kara has on her face right before she sees Michael but nothing tops Michael’s expression. The ceremony was amazing… I don’t usually get to take many behind the scenes shots but since it was full mass I had some wiggle room so I got to play around and find those perfect moments. It was a great wedding… and the best Grand March I have ever seen. EVERYONE participated! Thanks to Roger Wallace for being so amazing! He’s the man behind the music on my website!
On a side note… I slipped on my way out the hotel yesterday and broke one of cameras. Glad I have insurance! I was ok… just a little frazzled!
I just got this from Kara
You are so awesome! I'm sorry you missed the fire alarm going off at midnight and the entire hotel being evacuated to the parking lot. There were barefoot bridesmaids, hotel guests in bathrobes, cops, fire trucks ... We partied in the Players parking lot for an hour -- we bought 2 kegs, I shot gunned a beer with my maidens, we danced in the streets, then the cops let us back in and announced "Congratulations, Ma'am" over their cop car PA. It would ONLY happen to Michael and me. It made for a memorable adventure to say the least.
Thanks again and can't wait to see the rest! Kara
