Kady&Paul

Next week, I'll be heading off to San Miguel de Allende to photograph Kady&Paul's wedding... I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am! Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the civil ceremony at their house. It was a beautiful, intimate setting, and I can't wait to see everyone again soon! Thanks again for everything and the plate of food... it was yummy!

Kady had been living in Australia, so Paul gave her this necklace as a wedding gift to remind her that she know lives in the Western Hemisphere.

Chritina&Paul ~September 26th 2008

I had a wonderful time at Christina&Pauls wedding! During Christina's mom's toast she spoke about holding her in her arms when she was first born... it brought tears to my eyes. I'm already a sentimental fool but the thought of my little Sol growing up just got to me. That is one of the reasons I love my job... it truly reminds me of the wonderful things life offers us. Christina's mom also mentioned how she never stops laughing no matter what... it's true! She laughed all night! Christina&Paul are truly kind hearted! I wish you guys all the best.

Here are some of my favorites photos from Melissa&Stuarts engagement session in DUMBO.
I had a wonderful time... Thanks for playing along and being such awesome MODELS! I can't wait till the wedding it's going to be a BLAST!

I love this shot of Stuart... he looks like GQ model!

These 2 can be goofy together... I love that!

The amazing view of both bridges... breath taking!

Melissa... she's pretty darn HOT in that pink number.

See what I mean...

a little elevator love...
We actually started out in their apartment first and I loved the shots we got. I LOVE THESE!

A little pillow fighting...
My intention was to get Melissa's feet and legs in the photo but not her face...
but how could I not post this gem... I love her expression!

I'M BACK!!!

I had an AWESOME time with Melissa&Stuart in Dumbo...which I found out stands for "Down Under the Manhattan Brooklyn Overpass" ... The view of Manhattan from Dumbo is amazing... I really want to move there! I had every intention of walking on Brooklyn's bridge after our shoot but somehow I got sucked into this awesome little bar "SpeakLow" and before I knew it I was a little toasty and not so much in the mood to walk to Midtown. It didn't hurt that we made friends with these 2 cool guys from Brooklyn.
Here's a teaser for now from my amazing engagement ... :) I'll post some more of my favorites soon!

We were going to have one drink before our walk... but on our way to the bridge we ran into this other cool bar. Billy took this picture of me but like an amateur he got his finger in it. HA! This is at the first bar/restaurant but I can't remember the name.
I like this photo of Billy... he looks all artsy (bookish)! Fits right in at DUMBO.
The cool bar with all kinds of awesome drinks.Chris and Paul... Paul had an amazing Ipod that he promised to share with me. I really liked talking with Chris... we had all kinds of interesting conversations about kids, family, politics and some other random useless topics... these came close to the end of the night ;)

Look at Billy having a Manhattan... Oh yeah... Billy saw Mos Def and almost had a heart attack!
He was walking into our hotel and they made eye contact... I've never seen Billy get so excited before...he was kind of like a little kid. it was cute.
